Why Do I Like Inkjet Printers?

- Image via Wikipedia
There are reasons why, until now, I still continue buying Inkjet Printers for home and office use. Call me a loyalist because I am. I prefer to stick to a product that has provided me with ease and great advantages to my work. My loyalty goes out to my old but well-functioning Inkjet Printer.
I used different brands at home and in my offices. I don’t mind as long as I have the three major Inkjet printer brands: Canon, Epson, and HP. This is because whatever major printer brand I choose depends on the quality features it offer. Moreover, I also look out for prices of their cartridges and the number of times it can be refilled in ink refilling stores.
So why do I prefer using Inkjet printers over other kinds of printers? First reason would be convenience. Because an inkjet printer is compact, it takes up very little space on my desk or drawer. With its light weight, the Inkjet printer is easy portable that I could carry it around when I needed to do a printing job in another department.
Another reason for my preference in choosing Inkjet Printers over laser printers is the price question. I can print clear and colorful pictures using my own Canon printer at home. I can hardly see any difference with the printing quality when compared to laser printers.
The main argument against Inkjet Printer is the Ink cost. However, I found a way to minimize this problem by purchasing discounted ink cartridges via online stores. You can compare prices and printer compatibility online. For me, I also save a lot with my Canon Pixma IP 1980 which allows me to have up to three ink refills per ink cartridge.
Nevertheless, I agree that laser printers are the first choice when it comes to large print volumes. If you have large volumes of only black prints, but few color prints, it may even be most economical in the long run to have both, a laser printer for black and white (much cheaper than a color laser printer) and an inkjet printer for your color prints.
Because Inkjet Printers are popular among general users, there are actually lots of choices now available at discounts on Amazon. Just remember to choose one of the major printer brands – Canon, Epson, and HP – that will suit your printing needs… then you’re off to work efficiently with Inkjet Printers.
