But yes, you need to wear a pair of “passive” 3D glasses — be it the old red-and-blue ones or newer black models you’d get at a movie theatre.
That is, it’s a 2D photo that looks a little funny to the naked eye, but don a pair of 3D glasses and the memories seem to jump off the paper. It looks quite good, actually.

How does it work? First you need to download Kodak’s All-in-One Printer Home Centre Software (version 6.2), for Windows or Macs. The file is roughly 23 megabytes.
When it’s downloaded and installed, take a picture with your digital camera. Now move the camera about 3 inches (75 millimetres) to the right without changing the camera’s angle – and then take a second photo.
Next, save those picture files (e.g. JPGs) to your computer and launch the Home Centre Software. Click to create a 3D picture. It will fuse the two photos together and print it out as one from your printer.
Kodak says to subject that has little motion (like a still portrait, flower or landscape shot) works best — compared to a fast-moving scene (which is hard to capture that second shot, perhaps).
